Senior Hospice Companion Care

Caring for a family member who is nearing the end of life is an important and profound experience. It can also be emotional and exhausting.

Our caregivers can be there for you during this time to make sure the transition is one of comfort, calm, and dignity for both you and your loved one.

We work closely with hospice providers and medical staff, before and after their visits, to provide companionship, comfort, and comprehensive, non-medical care.

We can assist your loved one with bathing and hygiene, dressing, toileting, and a variety of other needs to insure that he is as comfortable as possible. And, we are happy to read, reminisce, provide a comforting touch, or sit quietly with your loved one by the bedside day or night so that you can get some sleep or time to yourself.

During this time, our caregivers can also help with household responsibilities like light housekeeping, laundry, food preparation, grocery shopping, and other tasks so that you have more time to spend with your loved one without the worry of maintaining the home.

At HomeCare of the Rockies, we believe companionship and a heart level connection is essential to providing comprehensive care through every stage of life. Let us know if we can help, listen, lend a hand.
